Sunfire BG2 Spell
Sunfire is a BG2 Best Spell in BioWare's cRPG of 1998-2001, Baldur's Gate 2. Sunfire is an AoE incinerator that radiates outward from the caster, bypassing the magic resistance BG2 of deadly enemies such as Drow. It is one of the best direct damage spells in BG2.
Sunfire is a god-tier spell.

Sunfire Description
A sunfire is like a fireball -- an explosive burst of flame, which detonates with a low roar and delivers damage proportional to the level of the wizard who cast it - 1d6 points of damage for each level of experience of the spellcaster (up to a maximum of 15d6). The wizard gestures with his hand and the entire area around him erupts in flames, striking all except for the caster. Creatures failing their saving throws each suffer full damage from the blast. Those who roll successful saving throws manage to dodge, fall flat, or roll aside, each receiving half.

Not sure if you're still around but I wanted to say the work you've done compiling all this game knowledge from years of experience is an absolute treasure. Thank you very much. I'm also happy to see someone who in their character build guides understands that the best builds are strong early rather than being weak for most of the game then having roided math in the last 30 minutes for 2 or 3 fights. I've seen some strange takes in other guides for these games as well as others but yours always come with clear logic so I know I can trust them in a vacuum.
