This is a chronological list of 1980s IBM PC games that may have made some Atari ST and/or Amiga owners jealous, either because the IBM PC games were not available on ST/Amiga, came out on IBM PC before ST/Amiga or were simply better on IBM PC than on ST/Amiga. If nothing is added in parenthesis, that means the IBM PC game was not available on ST/Amiga.
Bolded entries signify particularly notable releases in computer game history.
An appended asterisk (*) signifies that the IBM PC version is much better than the ST/Amiga versions.
Included are some 1980s IBM PC games that predate the release of ST/Amiga. And they should be included since they constitute the IBM PC games catalogue that was available when the ST/Amiga were released.
1983-87 IBM PC Games that made Atari ST and Amiga owners Jealous
Some heyday ST/Amiga owners may glance at this list and scoff, "4-color CGA? Choppy screen-scrolling and sprite-shifting. Bah! No one would be jealous. No one!" But I have given an explanation in Best IBM PC Games.
