1980s Amiga Game: ST Owner Jealous
This is a chronological list of 1980s Amiga games that may have made some Atari ST owners jealous, either because the Amiga games were not available on ST, came out on Amiga before ST or were simply better on the Amiga than on ST.
If nothing is added in parenthesis, that means the Amiga game was not available on ST. An appended asterisk (*) indicates that the Amiga version of the game is better than the ST version (either wholly or notably as regards audiovisuals).
- Chessmaster 2000 Amiga Software Toolworks 1986 (ST 1987)
- Defender of the Crown Amiga Cinemaware 1986 (ST 1987)
- Pawn Amiga Magnetic Scrolls 1986
- Guild of Thieves Amiga Magnetic Scrolls 1987
- Faery Tale Adventure Amiga MicroIllusions 1987
- Typhoon Amiga Kingsoft 1987
- Garrison Amiga Digital Dreams 1987
- Arkanoid Amiga Discovery Software 1988 (* ST version lacks +33 levels)

- Hybris Amiga Martin Pederson 1988 (the ST could never do this)

- Super Hang-On Activision Software Studios 1988 (*)
- Sword of Sodan Amiga 1988 Discovery Software 1988

Note The Big Four of 1988: Hybris, Garrison, Kampfgruppe and Sword of Sodan. The ST would never get them. A 16-bit version of Kampfgruppe is reason alone to purchase an Amiga. The ST won in 1987, but not in 1988 or in any year subsequent.
