Paladin PC Games
PC Game Paladins are holy warrior characters, classes and builds. Paladins are adept at fighting undead, demons, dragons and necromancers; any enemy that is traditionally evil but undead above all.
As dragonslayer or fiendslayer, Paladins usually wield one-handed weapons and carry a shield, but are always heavily-armored, buffed and warded. Often, Paladins are the leader of the party due to their charismatic nature.
Paladins are exclusively of Lawful Good alignment and their gods are often Helm, Tyr and Torm. A Paladin that does not act virtuously becomes Fallen (to fall from grace), with anti-Paladins becoming Blackguards.
The middleground between Fighters and Clerics, Paladins are a mainstay of medieval-fantasy though paladinly characters are found in most cRPGs, regardless of setting. For example, the Brotherhood of Steel in Fallout 1 are basically post-apocalyptic Paladins.
