Sorcerer Build ToEE
The Sorcerer Build is a ToEE Build for Troika's cRPG of 2003, Temple of Elemental Evil. In comparison to Wizard ToEE, Sorcerers can cast more spells per day but have a much stricter spell range and far fewer skillpoints. cf. Sorcerer vs Wizard ToEE.

Sorcerer Build Foundation
- Male Human Sorcerer (Bombardier): Kermin Mind-Bender.
- Alignment: irrelevant to build.
- Strength: 10 or dump 8
- Dexterity: crank it for +Initiative
- Constitution: 14 or so
- Intelligence: 10
- Wisdom: dump is fine
- Charisma: max to 18, pump every 4 lvls for +2

Thus, our Sorcerer is getting +2 Magic Missiles, +3 Fireballs, +2 Ice Storms and +1 Cone of Cold. However, Sorcerer vs. Wizard.
Empowered Magic Missile vs. Maximized MM: Maximize spell is a complete waste because under a 10th level cap we can only maximize Magic Missiles (5x5 dmg missiles per casting). Moreover, Empowered MMs inflict between 3 and 7 dmg per missile, and we have +1 Empower slot over Maximize.

- Sorcerers (and Wizards) have a spell range of 125; that is, they have access to 125 unique spells. There are nine cantrips/0-level spells, 27x first circle spells, 26x 2nd, 28x 3rd, 21x 4th and 14x 5th.
- Craft: Cloak of Charisma +6.
- Wear: Senshock's Robes.
Comparison of spellcastings per day: 10th level Generalist Wizard versus 10th level Sorcerer:
- Generalist Wizard: 4/6/5/4/4/3
- Sorcerer: 6/8/7/7/6/4

Paladin Sorcerer Build
- Paladin 1: Spell Focus (Evocation), GSF (Evocation)
- Paladin 2: Divine Grace
- Paladin 2 / Sorcerer 1: Empower Spell: 1st Circle Spells: Mage Armor, Magic Missile
- Paladin 2 / Sorcerer 2: Cha +1
- Paladin 2 / Sorcerer 3: Ray of Enfeeblement or Grease
- Paladin 2 / Sorcerer 4: Spell Penetration: 2nd Circle Spells: No useful evocations. Go with Mirror Image.
- Paladin 2 / Sorcerer 5: Probably Invisibility or Eagle's Splendor
- Paladin 2 / Sorcerer 6: Cha +1: 3rd Circle Spells: Fireball
- Paladin 2 / Sorcerer 7: Greater Spell Penetration, Lightning Bolt
- Paladin 2 / Sorcerer 8: Fourth Circle Spells: Ice Storm
As can be seen, getting "crafty" and taking two levels of Paladin for Divine Grace (bonus to saves based on Cha) just isn't worth it when the level cap is 10 because we only get to choose 2x third circle spells and 1x 4th circle. Moreover, we delay our acquisition of Fireball (best direct damage spell) and miss out on 5th circle spells entirely (no Cone of Cold and no Cloudkill). We can't even afford Stoneskin. All for +saves? I don't think so. If you go Sorcerer, go pure Sorcerer or you're just weakening the build.
