Grael Baldur's Gate
Grael is a Baldur's Gate enemy in BioWare's cRPG of 1998, Baldur's Gate. Grael is a super-Greater Ghoul found in the far southwest of Durlag's Tower level 4. Grael is notable for being the most powerful enemies in Baldur's Gate. Grael is backed up by six Greater Ghouls and two Crypt Crawlers.
Grael Stats
Offensively, the Hasted Grael has a THAC0 of 3 and inflicts an average of 10.5 piercing damage at a rate of 4 ApR, wielding 1d8 ghoul touch claws that inflict on-hit 7-round duration paralysis on failed saves vs. Death AND on-hit 2-point THAC0-draining nausea on failed saves. vs. Breath.
Note that paralysis and nausea can be dispelled, and can be warded by free action status.
Defensively, Grael has an AC of -4, 88 HPs and saving throws of 9-11-10-12-12.
Grael has a morale of 10, morale break of 2 and morale recovery of 1.
Grael Immunities
Grael is immune to poison and has 30% resistance to missile damage. As a Greater Ghoul, Grael is immune to panic, poison, petrification, confusion, berserk, charm, paralysis and slay.
