Bard Level 3 Spells, Temple of Elemental Evil ToEE Best Spells

There are 20x third circle or 3-level Bard spells in ToEE. The best Level 3 Bard spells are Charm Monster, Confusion, Deep Slumber, Slow and Summon Monster III.

Bards get to choose just four spells out of the following 20: make them good choices.

• Unbolded: the spell may or may not be useful
• Bolded: the spell is generally worth selecting or scribing
• Blue: King-tier or key spell: a spell we don't want to miss
• Red: Shit-tier or all but useless spell

Upgraded Sleep spell (impacts 10 HD). Nice.

Nice buff for physical-based damage dealers in that it grants them an extra attack at their full BAB,  and doubles their movement speed. Stacks once with itself in vanilla but not in Temple+.

Good spell. Cures all diseases the target is suffering from.

Cast this in conjunction with Haste in order to gain a grossly unfair advantage.

◦ Summon Monster III (Conjuration) {9469}
Summons celestial black bear or fiendish constrictor snake, dire bat or large viper or small elemental of air, earth, fire or water. Summon cap is 5.
