Skeleton Warrior is a Baldur's Gate enemy in BioWare's cRPG of 1998, Baldur's Gate. Skeleton Warriors are top-tier skeletal undead most notable for their strong attacks in melee and from range, as well as their magic resistance BG2 and physical damage resistance BG2. New players usually have great difficulty beating Skeleton Warriors in the Thieves' Maze, and in Durlag's Tower.
Skeleton Warrior Stats
In melee, Skeleton Warriors have THAC0s of 4 and inflict an average of 14.5 slashing damage at a rate of 2 ApR, wielding +1 two-handed swords as Grandmaster.
From range, Skeleton Warriors have THAC0s of 5 and inflict an average of 11 missile damage at a rate of 3 ApR, firing Arrows of Ice from Composite Longbows.
Note: Pre-TotSC and pre-4315, Skeleton Warriors had a whopping 4 ApR in melee and from range. In addition, their THAC0s were superior by 4 points.
Skeleton Warriors have a morale of 20, a morale break of 1 and morale recovery of 60.
Skeleton Warrior Resistances
Skeleton Warriors have 100% resistance to cold and poison, 90% magic resistance, 40% resistance to slashing damage, 50% resistance to piercing damage and 60% resistance to missile damage.
Skeleton Warrior Immunities
Skeleton Warriors are immune to critical hit, backstab, panic, poison, sleep, petrification, confusion, charm, berserk, paralyze and slay.
4,000 XP, Two-Handed Sword +1.
In BG2, we can summon Skeleton Warriors through Animate Dead.
