Overwhelming Critical NWN

Overwhelming Critical is an Epic combat feat in BioWare's cRPG Definition of 2002, Neverwinter Nights. Overwhelming Critical is taken by most martial NWN builds that bother achieving epic levels, such as Fighter, Paladin and Barbarian.

Scythe-wielding Weapon Masters gain the most from it, damage-wise: 5d6 damage. But Scimitar-wielding ones are going to get 2d6 dmg more often.

Like Improved Critical NWN, Over-crit isn't much use against crit-immunes, such as undead.

Overwhelming Critical Feat Rules

• Type of Feat: Combat
• Prerequisite: 21st level, Strength 23+, Cleave, Great Cleave, Improved Critical (in chosen weapon) and Power Attack.
• Specifics: When using the weapon chosen, the character deals +1d6 points of damage on a successful critical hit. If the weapon's critical multiplier is x3, add +2d6, and if the multiplier is x4, add 3d6.
• Use: Automatic.
• Prerequisite for Devastating Critical.
