Druid Level 5 Spells, Temple of Elemental Evil ToEE Best Spells



There are only 6x fifth circle or 5-level Druid spells in ToEE. The best Level 5 Druid spells are Animal Growth, Stoneskin and Summon Nature's Ally V (see above pic).

• Unbolded: the spell may or may not be useful
• Bolded: the spell is generally worth selecting or scribing
• Blue: King-tier or key spell: a spell we don't want to miss
• Red: Shit-tier or all but useless spell

Animal Growth (Transmutation) {9008}
King-tier animal companion and summon buff.


Call Lightning Storm (Evocation) {9550}
Pitiful 5' radius but we'll take it. 5d6 dmg indoors and 5d8 outdoors.
Cure Critical Wounds (Conjuration) {9089}
The best healing spell in the game. Gives the party great staying power.
◦ Death Ward (Abjuration) {9101}
Situationally useful only.
Stoneskin (Abjuration) {9462}
Excellent tanking facilitator. Grants damage reduction 10/Adamantine per caster level up to 100 points of physical-based dmg. Along with Tree Shape, this is the best defensive spell that our Druid has. It can be cast on party members, summons and our animal companion as well.


Summon Nature's Ally V (Conjuration) {9480}
Summons medium elementals, giant constrictor snakes or polar bears. Summon cap is five but we only get 3x fifth circle spell slots, anyway.
