Power Armor Fallout 2
Power Armor Stats
A self-contained suit of advanced technology armor. Powered by a micro-fusion reactor, with enough fuel to last a hundred years.
- AC Bonus: 25
- Normal DT/DR: 12/40%
- Laser: 18/80%
- Fire: 12/60%
- Plasma: 10/40%
- Explode: 20/50%
- Radiation Resistance: +30%
- Strength: +3
- Weight: 42 pounds
Over-powered 3-point bonus to the Strength stat aside, the problem with Fallout 1 and 2 armor design is that nothing competes with PA and its variants. For example, both Interplay and Black Isle failed to give other armors stat bonuses that can compete with PA's +3 ST. And while a few armors do indeed have better DT/DR depending on damage-type, the difference is not enough to subout PA.
Power Armor Specs
The T-51b Powered Infantry Armor is designed with the latest passive defense features for both civilian and military disturbances. The back-mounted TX-28 MicroFusion Pack generates 60,000 Watts to power the HiFlo hydraulic systems built into the frame of the suit.
Made of the latest poly-laminate composite, the T-51b shell is lightweight and capable of absorbing over 2500 Joules of kinetic impact. The 10 micron silver ablative coating can reflect laser and radiation emissions without damage to the composite subsurface.
Power Armor Location
In Fallout 2, Power Armor is found for sale at Flying Dragon 8 and Red 888 Guns in San Francisco. At both merchats, PA can be found for sale in up to stacks of three.
Fallout 1 Power Armor is found at the Brotherhood of Steel compound.
Power Armor is also found in Fallout 2 mods such as Fallout Nevada and Fallout 1.5 Resurrection.
Power Armor Fallout 1.5 Resurrection:
Power Armor in Fallout Nevada must be assembled from several components. This is a good way to slow down the player's acquisition of an OP armor. But really, just leave it out.
- Power Armor Central Processing Unit
- Autonomous System of T-51b Power Armor
- Laboratory Helmet
- Power Armor Blueprints T-51b
- Anti-Radiation Suit
- Gas Protection Suit
