FN-FAL 7.62mm NATO assault rifle

The FN-FAL 7.62mm NATO assault rifle is a top-tier weapon in Jagged Alliance 2. Note the damage and range over the G41 and C-7; the increase in damage is noticeable when firing from long-range. 

FN-FALs will not be found until Orta (mid-game) but by end-game we want several of these being handed out to squad members. 

FN-FALs can be purchased from Bobby Ray's at the point of liberating five towns. Unlike the G41 and C-7, this is an end-game-proof assault rifle. I don't think there is a better general weapon for the final quarter of the campaign. The rarer 7.62mm ammo is easier to source by the midway point of the campaign, through Bobby Ray's. 

The ultimate FN-FAL. This FN FAL is equipped with two temporary attachments (sniper scope and laser scope) as well as two permanent attachments (gun barrel extender and rod & spring):

That is supremely badass.
