Menzoberranzan IBM PC 1994

DreamForge Intertainment released Menzoberranzan for IBM PC MS-DOS 5.0 Protected mode run-time 1.96 in 1994.

Built on the Ravenloft engine Menzoberranzan is set in TSR's Forgotten Realms campaign setting and is based on the characters found in R.A Salvatore's The Legacy of 1992.

As its name suggests Menzoberranzan is set in the Underdark. Menzoberranzan is the birthplace of Drizzt Do'Urden.

Menzoberranzan was programmed by Don Wuenschell. Menzoberranzan installs via CD-ROM.

Menzoberranzan displays in 256-color SVGA 640x400 and requires an i80386DX-33 MHz CPU, 2x CD-ROM, 15 megs of HDD space and a minimum of 540,000 bytes of free conventional RAM and 2,700,000 bytes of XMS RAM (4 megs of RAM).

Stupidly, Menzoberranzan cinematizes its character creation via ugly pre-rendered animations that also slow down chargen.
