Su-27 Flanker
Eagle Dynamics of Russia released Su-27 Flanker for IBM PC MS-DOS 5.0 in May of 1996. Su-27 Flanker was originally released for Windows 95 in November of 1995.
In Su-27 Flanker players pilot the Soviet Sukoi Su-27 Flanker fighter-interceptor. In Su-27 Flanker the theatre of operations is the Crimean Peninsula.
Su-27 Flanker is notable for its realistic flight model, fast rendering engine, good AI and detailed, OS-like scenario editor. In addition, Su-27 Flanker allows players to preview the stats and 3D models for 104 units, armaments and installations.
Su-27 Flanker displays in square-pixel 256-color SVGA 640x480.
Su-27 Flanker requires an i80486DX2 66 MHz CPU, 400K of free conventional RAM and 6 megs of XMS RAM.
Su-27 Flanker is a v1.96 Rational Systems DOS/4GW Protected Mode Run-time.
Su-27 Flanker audio is configured via the Miles Design Audio Interface Library and sound configuration utility.
Su-27 Flanker digital audio supports Sound Blaster, Sound Blaster 16, Sound Blaster Pro, Sound Blaster AWE-32, Roland RAP-10, Media Vision Pro Audio Spectrum, Gravis UltraSound, New Media Corporation WaveJammer digital audio, Ensoniq SoundScape digital audio and ESS Technology ES688 digital audio.
Su-27 Flanker was distributed by Flying Legends on 1x CD-ROM and extracts and installs to hard disk drive via Su-27 Flanker Installation Program and DEARJ v2.30 by Robert K. Jung. The install size is 10 megs and consists of 134 files.
Su-27 Flanker controls support keyboard, CH FlightStick Pro, Thrustmaster Mark I WCS/FCS, Thrustmaster Mark 2 WCS/FCS and Thrustmaster F-16 TQS/FLCS.
