MiG-29 Fulcrum

Simis and Domark released MiG-29 Fulcrum for IBM PC MS-DOS in 1990. MiG-29 Fulcrum is a combat flight simulator in which players pilot the Soviet Mikoyan MiG-29 fighter aicraft.

MiG-29 is notable for its advanced flight model and smooth 3D rendering engine.

The IBM PC MS-DOS version of MiG-29 Fulcrum was developed by Dave Payne, Jonathan Newth, Paul Stein and Ray Jackson of Simis. MiG-29 Fulcrum was drawn by Steven Blake, Lloyd Baker and Matthew Hicks of Domark. MiG-29 Fulcrum was composed by Jolyon Myers and arranged for AdLib by Matt Furniss.

MiG-29 Fulcrum displays in 16-color EGA or 16-color VGA 320x200. Sky and landscape gradients are employed.

MiG-29 Fulcrum supports joystick, 2x joystick, mouse and keyboard control. Ctrl+A toggles the advanced flight model whereas Ctrl+D calls up the Debriefing, but only on the runway. The presentation does not contain much text, instead favoring maps and pictures.
