Target Games released Laser Squad for IBM PC MS-DOS in 1992. Laser Squad was designed by Julian Gollop. The IBM PC version of Laser Squad was programmed by John Stephens.

Laser Squad is the successor to Rebelstar ZX Spectrum 1984-88.

Target Games became Mythos Games who subsequently released X-COM UFO Defense IBM PC 1994.
 
Laser Squad displays in 256-color VGA 320x200.

Laser Squad requires 512K of free conventional RAM.

Laser Squad was distributed on 2x 3.5" 1.44MB HD diskettes or 3x 5.25" 1.2 MB DS HD diskettes. The install size is 7.5 megs (279 files). Laser Squad audio supports AdLib, Sound Blaster and Roland.
