Anvil of Dawn
DreamForge Intertainment released Anvil of Dawn for IBM PC MS-DOS 5.0 in October of 1995.
Anvil of Dawn is an interpolated flip-screen cRPG that employs pre-rendered 3D backgrounds and sprite-based objects and actors. In-dungeon movement consists of interpolated turns and steps whereas wilderness exploration consists in moving from node-to-node via interpolation. Also, characters cannot strafe.

Anvil of Dawn Technical
Anvil of Dawn displays in 256-color VGA 320x200 and features a full-screen active drawspace.
Anvil of Dawn was lead-programmed by Thomas Holmes, lead-drawn by Frank Schurter and designed by Christopher Straka and Thomas Holmes.
Anvil of Dawn is a v1.97 Rational Systems' DOS/4GW Protected Mode Run-time.
Anvil of Dawn was distributed on 1x CD-ROM and extracts and installs to hard disk drive via Anvil of Dawn Installation and Configuration. The install size is 26 megs and consists of 22 files.
Anvil of Dawn audio is configured via HMI Sound Operation System Setup Utility of 1995 by Human Machine Interfaces.
