Elerium-115 X-COM UFO Defense

Elerium-115 is an alien artifact in X-COM UFO Defense. Being an element that forms energy, Elerium is employed in the manufacture of key technologies. For example: Flying Suit X-COM (x16 Elerium).

Elerium-115 Location

Elerium is found during X-COM crash site, landing site and alien base missions. Usually, 50 units of Elerium are recovered, but large alien craft can yield up to 200 units.

Elerium-115 Research

Research of Elerium is critical to game completion. Elerium can be researched upon its acquisition; that is, after recovering Elerium from a crash, base or landing site. Elerium research is one of four research components required for UFO Construction X-COM.

This element has the unusual property of generating anti-matter power when bombarded with certain particles. This creates gravity waves and other forms of energy. It is not naturally found in our solar system and cannot be reproduced.
