IWDification Mod Baldur's Gate

IWDification is a Baldur's Gate 2 mod for BioWare's cRPG of 2000-2001, Baldur's Gate 2. IWDifcation also works when running Baldur's Gate 1 in the BG2 engine (e.g. EasyTutu).

IWDification adds Icewind Dale 1 spells, casting graphics and spell and ability progression to Baldur's Gate, thereby "IWDifying" Baldur's Gate.

However, IWDification does not balance such additions by adding IWD monsters or IWD-esque combat encounter design to BG2. Thus, IWDification is a game-imbalancing mod. Of course, BG2 spells were already over-powered but IWDification only makes BG2 easier than ever.

Example of game imbalance: IWD martial buffs such as arcane Emotion Spells and divine buffs together result in THAC0 +10, damage +9, saving throws +8, HPs +7-13 and ApR +1.

And we all know how weak martial BG2 enemies are. They are not tanky like the ones in IWD. Also, IWD has horde-based martial combat encounter design whereas BG2's martial CED (if you want to even call it that) is merely mob-based, and thus absolutely pathetic; a laughing stock.

IWDification is compatible with Spell Revisions if SR is installed AFTER IWDification. However, SR overwrites some of the IWD spells. Note that SCS BG2 has its own (optional) IWD spell repertoire built-in.
