Red Baron 1990



Dynamix released Red Baron on December 31 of 1990 for IBM PC MS-DOS 5.0. Red Baron was directed and designed by Damon Slye. The lead programmer of Red Baron was Paul Bowman, the flight model was programmed by Damon Slye and the shell programmer was David McClurg. The lead 3D graphician of Red Baron was Cyrus Kanga.

Red Baron is notable for its realistic WWI dogfighting, smooth flat-shaded rendering engine and professional presentation.

Red Baron was distributed on 2x 3.5" 1.44MB HD diskettes, 3x 3.5" 720kB DS DD diskettes or 3x 5.25" 1.2 MB DS HD floppy disks. Red Baron installs to hard disk drive via Dynamix Start Smart. The install size is 2.4 megs and consists of 32 files.

Red Baron audio supports Tandy TX, Tandy TL, Roland MT-32, Roland LAPC-1, AdLib Music Synthesizer, Sound Blaster and PS/1 Audio Card.

Red Baron controls support mouse, keyboard or analogue joystick.

Red Baron Mission Builder IBM PC 1992



Dynamix released Red Baron Mission Builder for IBM PC MS-DOS in 1992. Red Baron Mission Builder was designed by Christopher Shen, drawn by and Jarrett Jester and programmed by Steve VanDevender and Joe Wingard.

Red Baron Mission Builder was distributed on 1x 3.5" 720kB DS DD diskette. The original hard disk drive install size becomes 3 megs and consists of 84 files.
