Black Crypt Amiga 1992
Raven Software released Black Crypt for the Amiga in 1992. Developed on Amiga and exclusively for Amigas with 1 meg of RAM, Black Crypt was programmed by Ben Gokey and Rick Johnson.
Black Crypt is a flip-screen cRPG in the vein of Dungeon Master of 1987. Indeed, Black Crypt is a clone thereof.
Black Crypt displays in 64-color extra-halfbrite (EHB) 320x200 and employs a 208x140 active drawspace. Black Crypt graphics were drawn by Brian Raffel and Steve Raffel.
Black Crypt features digitized sound and music, 60 animated spells and auto-mapping of a 28-level dungeon known as The Tomb of Four Heroes.
The player creates and controls a party of four heroes of classes Fighter, Cleric, Magic-User and Druid. Each Hero is constituted by five stats, and the stats can be tailored from a point-pool of 25.
The object of Black Crypt is to destroy the evil cleric, Estaroth Paingiver.

Black Crypt was distributed by Electronic Arts on 3x 3.5" 880kB DD diskettes and extracts and installs to hard disk drive via Black Crypt installation. The install size is 2 megs and consists of 28 files.
