Draw Upon Holy Might Baldur's Gate

Draw Upon Holy Might Baldur's Gate

Draw Upon Holy Might aka DUHM is a divine spell and Bhaalspawn Ability in BioWare's cRPG of 1998-2001, Baldur's Gate. Due to buffing physical attributes for an impressive duration, Draw Upon Holy Might is one of the best Baldur's Gate divine spells. Through DUHM, we can eventually attain scores of 25 in Strength, Dexterity and Constitution.

Cavalier BG2 and Undead Hunter BG2 can contend with Fighter BG2 for martial supremacy because Good-aligned Fighters lose DUHM as a Bhaalspawn ability (for Slayer BG2) whereas Paladin BG2 also gets Slayer but maintains DUHM as part of its divine repertoire -- though Inquisitor BG2 lacks divine spells.

  • Draw Upon Holy Might (Invocation)
  • Range: 0
  • Duration: 1 turn
  • Casting Time: 1
  • Area of Effect: The caster
  • Saving Throw: None
  • Strength, Dexterity and Constitution +1 per 3 character levels

The Bhaalspawn calls upon the might of his blood to grant him power for a short period. When he does this, his strength, constitution and dexterity all are raised by 1 point for every 3 levels of the caster. A third level caster would have his abilities raised by 1, while a 12th level caster would have all his abilities raised by 4.
