Wyvern is a Baldur's Gate enemy in BioWare's cRPG of 1998, Baldur's Gate. Wyverns are hostile winged monsters most notable for inflicting on-hit poison during deadly waylays in the Cloakwood Forest. Wyverns are one of the most powerful monsters in Baldur's Gate; along with Greater Basilisks, they are one of the most lethal ambushing monsters in cRPG history.
Wyvern Stats
Offensively, the Hasted Wyvern has a THAC0 of 9 and inflicts an average of 9 crushing damage at a rate of 2 ApR wielding 2d8 claws; or an average of 3.5 piercing damage wielding a 1d6 tail that also inflicts on-hit 5-point poison damage over time (100 total over 20 seconds) on failed saves vs. Death at -4.
Wyverns have a morale of 10, a morale break of 5 and morale recovery of 45.

Wyvern Immunities
Wyverns are immune to paralyze, slow, entangle, web and grease.
Wyvern Location
Wyverns are found in the Cloakwood Forest as both conventional and waylay encounters. There is also a Wyvern cave on the 4th Cloakwood Forest map, which links into Coran's quest.
Baby Wyvern
The Hasted Baby Wyvern is identical to the Wyvern except that it is smaller in size and has a THAC0 of 14, an AC of 3 and 30 HPs. Baby Wyverns are only found in the Wyvern cave of Cloakwood Forest.
