The best traits in Jagged Alliance 2 are Auto-Weapons Expert & Psycho or Ambidextrous & Auto-Weapons.


Jagged Alliance 2 1.12 Traits & Bonuses


There are hidden mechanics at work in the profiling process that can net our I.M.P. bonuses or penalties (traits) when questions are answered in certain combinations, but at the end of the day it's just for a bit of fun. If we can't help ourselves and absolutely must power-game, I can recommend a few combos that are very useful, off-hand:

Night Ops Expert Jagged Alliance 2


The answers for Night Ops Expert are 6433 2232 2113 2244. Night Ops gives us many +2 bonuses during combat at night. It increases our vision radius at night. It is one of the most valuable traits to have because we can't always avoid nightfall.

Stealthy Expert Jagged Alliance 2


The answers for Stealthy Expert are 4233 2442 2117 2444. Merely stepping on a twig can alert the enemy to our presence. This trait makes it a lot less likely that we will do that because we gain +50% to moving around unseen and unheard. Choose this if you enjoy scouting out the place and finding the best vantage points from which to mount an attack.

You'll start off packing a silenced Beretta 93r if you choose this trait.

Teacher Expert Jagged Alliance 2


The answers for Teacher Expert are 6144 2442 2123 2444. Teacher Expert gives us a large bonus to training militia (+60%) but I've never needed it because I always have Ira JA2 and Buns JA2 for that purpose. I just put it here for people who would like to have a passive I.M.P.

Auto-Weapons Expert & Psycho Jagged Alliance 2


The answers for Auto-Weapons Expert & Psycho are 6341 2444 2114 2444. Thanks to Auto-Weapons, your to-hit penalty for burst-fire is reduced to one quarter. The Psycho attitude means you will occasionally overkill with burst-fire (wasting ammo), but it's fun with FN-FAL and by end-game you will be glad you have it. Note that burst-fire is much more accurate in JA2 than it is in Silent Storm.

Ambidextrous & Auto-weapons Jagged Alliance 2


The answers for Ambidextrous & Auto-Weapons are 6441 2441 2114 2424. Ambidextrous means you can dual-wield pistols and SMGs without incurring the 20% to-hit penalty. Auto-Weapons means your to-hit penalty for burst-fire is reduced to one half.

Get a hold of two silenced MAC-10 and go to town. This is a badass playstyle but note that your common FN-FALs [*] and the rare G-11 outstrip ambis when it comes to killin' power. Pistoleering is also a lot of fun with Ambi, and you will find decent pistols itemized in the campaign, such as the Automag III.


The Glock 17/18 is cool, too. Just make sure you have the mobility to run rings around the enemy when armed with pistols.

My Psycho attitude doesn't show up, but it's there, just waiting to trigger...
