Feather-weight Axe Arcanum
Feather-weight Axe is an Arcanum weapon in Troika's cRPG of 2001, Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura. Feather-weight Axe is an Associate-level degree of the Smithy technological discipline. Forging the axe requires an Expertise score of at least 25.

The FWA is an excellent early weapon due to its speed rating. Note that the Speed rating (which dictates AP expenditure) is dependent on the character's training in the Melee skill. e.g., Apprentice level Melee confers a 5-point bonus to SR, which lowers the AP expenditure of swinging the axe.

- Feather-weight Axe Fatigue Damage: 3-11
- Feather-weight Axe Speed: 12
- Feather-weight Axe Weight: 70 stone
- Feather-weight Axe Durability: 100
Later in the game, this item can be assembled by Magnus.
Feather-weight Axe Components
- Oak Axe Handle location: Randomly and commonly spawns in blacksmith vendor inventories (e.g, Lloyd Gurloes of Shrouded Hills).
- Dwarven Ore location: Randomly and commonly spawns in the Wheel Clan blacksmith's vendor inventory.
Feather-weight Axe can also spawn ready-made in the Wheel Clan blacksmith's vendor inventory.
