Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession IBM PC 1994


DreamForge Intertainment released Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession for IBM PC MS-DOS 5.0 Protected mode run-time 1.96 in 1994. Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession is set in the TSR's AD&D gothic-horror Ravenloft campaign setting.


Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession was programmed by Don Wuenschell. Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession was distributed on 7x 3.5" 1.44MB HD diskettes and decompresses and installs to hard disk drive via Floppy 1.1 Installation. 

Strahd's Possession displays in 256-color SVGA 640x400, features a maximum render-field of 512x256 and requires an i80386DX-33 MHz CPU, MSCDEX 2.1 2x CD-ROM, 21 megs of HDD space and a minimum of 525,000 bytes of free conventional RAM and 2,720,000 bytes of XMS RAM (4 megs of RAM).

Ravenloft: Stone Prophet IBM PC 1995


Sequel to Strahd's Possession of 1994, DreamForge Intertainment released Ravenloft: Stone Prophet for IBM PC MS-DOS 5.0 Protected mode run-time 1.96 in 1995. Ravenloft: Stone Prophet was programmed by Don Wuenschell, Mike Breitkreutz and Thomas J. Holmes.


Ravenloft: Stone Prophet installs via CD-ROM; the game reads most of its data from the CD-ROM. Ravenloft: Stone Prophet displays in 256-color SVGA 640x400 and requires an i386DX-33 MHz CPU, 2x CD-ROM, 4 megs of HDD space and a minimum of 340,000 bytes of free conventional RAM and 2,700,000 bytes of XMS RAM (4 megs of RAM).

Menzoberranzan IBM PC 1994


DreamForge Intertainment released Menzoberranzan for IBM PC MS-DOS 5.0 Protected mode run-time 1.96 in 1994. Built on the Ravenloft engine, Menzoberranzan is set in TSR's Forgotten Realms campaign setting and is based on the characters found in R.A Salvatore's The Legacy of 1992.


Menzoberranzan was programmed by Don Wuenschell. Menzoberranzan installs via CD-ROM. Menzoberranzan displays in 256-color SVGA 640x400 and requires an i80386DX-33 MHz CPU, 2x CD-ROM, 15 megs of HDD space and a minimum of 540,000 bytes of free conventional RAM and 2,700,000 bytes of XMS RAM (4 megs of RAM).

Stupidly, Menzoberranzan cinematizes its character creation via ugly pre-rendered animations that also slow down chargen.
