Delphine Software International released Cruise for a Corpse for IBM PC MS-DOS in 1991. Cruise for a Corpse is a graphics adventure game that employs rotoscoped actor animations and bitmap-based backgrounds and animations.

Cruise for a Corpse runs on the Cinematique engine of Future Wars of 1989 and Operation Stealth of 1990, upgraded to Cinematique System Evolution 2.

Cruise for a Corpse was programmed by Benoist Aron, Philippe Chastel and Paul Cuisset.

In Cruise for a Corpse the player assumes the role of French police inspector, Raoul Dusentierm, who is conducting a murder investigation.

Cruise for a Corpse requires 640K of RAM and was distributed on 3x 3.5" 1.44 MB HD diskettes. The hard disk drive install size is 3.5 megs (23 files).
