Deep Gnome Build IWD2

Deep Gnome Build is a Best Build IWD2 in Black Isle's cRPG of 2002, Icewind Dale 2. Deep Gnome Build is an Armor Class Lord Supertanker, Visegrip Immobilizer and Heart of Fury IWD2 build that can also nuke with AoEs as well as hack and slay.

In order to take advantage of IWD2 cRPG Itemization (see: Weapons IWD2) and powerful abilities, Deep Gnome Build takes one level of Monk, one level of Rogue and 28 levels of Dreadmaster of Bane. cf. IWD2 Classes.

Deep Gnome Build attains legitimate ACs in excess of 75 (though not all modifiers are shown in the stat-panel).

• AC without items: 32
• AC with items: 50
• AC with items and spell buffs: 75
• AC with items, spells and War Chant of Sith / Lingering Song bug: 100+

Deep Gnome build boasts of spellcasting DC (Difficulty Class) of 38. That means not much is likely to resist its castings of Symbol spells, such as Symbol of Stunning and Symbol of Hopelessness (Level 8 Cleric Spells IWD2).

In short, Deep Gnome Build is hard to hit, its spells are hard to resist, it is highly resistant to spells and it hits hard and often enough in melee. If you're just going to be playing Normal mode, Sorcerer IWD2 is superior.
