Blaster Launcher X-COM UFO Defense
Blaster Launcher is an X-COM alien artefact in X-COM UFO Defense. To fire a Blaster Bomb, select "Launch Weapon", assign waypoints and click the "Launch Rocket" icon in the top-right of the viewport. The rocket follows the assigned path and explodes upon reaching its target. cf. Hovertank Launcher X-COM.

The ammo for the Blaster Launcher is the Blaster Bomb.

Blaster Launcher is found during X-COM crash site, landing site and alien base missions.
Blaster Launcher Research
Blaster Launcher can be researched upon its acquisition; that is, after recovering Blaster Launcher from a crash site or landing site. The same goes for its Blaster Bomb. Blaster Launcher is a prerequisite to researching Fusion Ball X-COM.
This is an alien guided missile launcher which fires powerful 'blaster bombs'. When you click to fire the weapon it will generate 'way points' for the blaster bomb to follow. When you have positioned enough way points click on the special launch icon.
