Machined Platemail Arcanum
Machined Platemail is an Arcanum armor in Troika's cRPG of 2001, Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura. Machined Platemail schematic is found in a dwarven chest on Loghaire's side of the Dredge, guarded by the Grey King werewolf. Forging requires an Expertise score of at least 85 in Mechanical and 20 in Smithy technological disciplines.
Behold the ultimate in armors-Machined Platemail. Powered by a Minute Steam Works, this technological miracle uses Elite Platemail for its defensive properties, while increasing the wearer's strength and resistance to most kinds of damage. This armor is a weapon in itself!

In addition to the weight, the damage reduction (DR) of the armor is modified by its size: small (DR: 38), medium (DR: 45), large (DR: 53).
Components:
• Minute Steamworks location: randomly and very rarely spawns in inventor vendor inventories, such as Geoffrey's Gears & Gadgetry in Tarant, and the Wheel Clan inventor.
