There are 24 unique weapons in Ion Storm's cRPG of 2000, Deus Ex 1. It depends on playstyle and FPS aptitude, but the best weapons in Deus Ex 1 are the Pistol, Sniper Rifle and GEP gun.

Such traits are decisive factors in how a weapon ranks.

The Deus Ex 1 weapon ranking takes into account not just the weapon itself (its stats) but also puts great weight on its ease of acquisition (accessibility) and its ongoing viability over the course of the campaign (how much use it gets).
