Dark Helm Arcanum

Dark Helm is an Arcanum armor in Troika's cRPG of 2001, Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura. Dark Helm can spawn in magickal, dark magickal and black market vendor inventories, including the gypsy aka Wise Woman stores, with a 9% chance. The helm can also be found in the lair of the Lord of the Dead.

Notable for its +20 to magic aptitude, the Dark Helm is even more notable for erroneously stacking the MA bonus and Alignment penalty each time the helm is equipped.

This is a good helm to give any magic-aptitude companion since the MA buff increases the effectiveness of all other equipped magickal gear.
