Electronics Deus Ex 1

Electronics is a Deus Ex 1 skill in Ion Storm's cRPG of 2000, Deus Ex 1. Electronics is a useful utility skill in Deus Ex 1 but there is no need to increase the skill above Advanced since multitools are generously itemized.

Electronics Description

By studying electronics and its practical application, agents can more efficiently bypass a number of security systems using multitools.

Electronics Ranks

Electronics Untrained: 10%, 1x Multitool. An agent can bypass security systems.
Electronics Trained (1,800 skillpoints): 25%, 1x Multitool. The efficiency with which an agent bypasses security increases slightly.
Electronics Advanced (3,600 skillpoints): 40%, 1x Multitool. The efficiency with which an agent bypasses security increases moderately.
Electronics Master (6,000 skillpoints): 75%, 1x Multitool. An agent encounters almost no security systems of any challenge.

Multitool Deus Ex 1

A disposable electronics tool. By using electromagnetic resonance detection and frequency modulation to dynamically alter the flow of current through a circuit, skilled agents can use the multitool to manipulate code locks, cameras, autogun turrets, alarms, or other security systems.
