In Phantasy Calradia for Warband, Swashbucklers are elite troops that can be recruited from player-controlled towns of the Kingdom of Rhodoks faction. Swashbucklers are the most skilled one-handed combat units that I've seen in Warband mods (800 weapon points in one-handed proficiency). They gain a bonus to damage while flanking due to their swords having the Stealthy mod (Rapier and Side Sword). In addition, they have decent defense due to their Steel Bucklers and Gambeson & Cuirass armor (42 body, 5 leg).
